Our Facilities
Shirley Heights Equestrian Centre has on offer first class facilities that are available for hire. Submerge yourself in the surrounds of the Yarra Valley countryside and enjoy nature with your horse as you work together and take on your next challenge.
Cross Country
Shirley Heights Equestrian Centre has a 40 acre Cross Country Course that has been in operation for over 25 years.
The professionally designed and built course comprises a variety of jump types and heights that support cross country training & events. The cross country jumping course has 3 separate paddocks and offers over 80 jumping efforts catering for all levels & skills. There is a water jump, ditches, apex and many interesting jumps and combinations to test all levels of riders.
With a water complex, along with ditch complexes, roll tops, oxers, apexes, arrowheads, brush skinnies, stumps and more to school over our course will be suitable for all your training needs. There is over 2 kilometres of gallop area on the set courses which is a bonus for our training course. We have an on-going professional development plan offering new jumps each season.

$35 per horse, per hour

CONDITIONS
To hire the Cross Country Schooling area, a rider must be a member of EV, HRCAV or Pony Club. Also a signed waiver must be completed. When having lessons from outside coaches they must present their Coaching Certificate or Full Insurance for coaching.
All people must be FULLY Vaccinated to be on the premisses.

Indoor Dressage Arena
Our indoor arena is 80m x 20m is professionally surfaced and designed to hold moisture and add a cushioned finish. Our arena offers permanent lighting fixtures so you never need to worry about your training or event running out of daylight. A sprinkler system ensures you can take advantage of optimal surface conditions.Our arena also has a new sound system and viewing gallery that can seat 100.

Please leave the arena as you found it.
Please make sure you pick up any manure and put in the bins provided.
